Introduction: Numerous intervention trials focused on the effects of fatty acids (FA), while habitual dietary FA intake has been less addressed. Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of habitual FA intake on the vascular and metabolic phenotype. Methods: Study subjects of the highest (Q5) and lowest quintiles (Q1) of FA consumption were identified from the BIOCLAIMS cohort (606 M, 704 F, age 18 – 85).
