Aim: The aim of study was to compare prevalence of malnutrition in Czech hospital before and after standardization of nutritional care Patients: 789 patients (317 M/394 F, aver.age 62.5 y) were investigated at admission on 4 departments of Teaching hospital (surgical, respiratory and 2 internal departments). 293 pts (131 M/162 F, av.age 68 y) were investigate during their stay in hospital before (H1) and 224 (99 M/125 F, aver.age 66 y) after nutritional intervention and standardization of nutritional care (H2) except patients on ICU.
