Zusammenfassung

There is increasing evidence that green tea polyphenols (GT) have immune-modulatory effects. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of green tea polyphenols (GT) given after LPS challenge on intestinal and systemic immunology. Female Balb/c mice were injected i.p. with LPS or normal saline. GT or water was given per feeding tube starting 15min after LPS challenge, thereafter mice were treated once everyday with final treatment 2h before sacrification, 24h and 48h after LPS.
