For the profession of dietitian a new professional profile has been stipulated in 2003 by the Dutch Dietetic Association of Dietitians (hereinafter: NVD-profile) It states both activities and competences of the paramedic dietitian. The professional practice that the study programmes aims for, is broader than that of practising paramedical dietitian.
