Aim: To investigate the association of nutritional habits and lifestyle factors in relation to BMI in childhood. Methods: The subjects of the study were 100 children (33 boys and 77 girls) aged between 10 and 12 years old. A 7 day food frequency questionnaire was completed by a personal interview. Nutritional habits and lifestyle factors were recorded. The BMI was calculated and all statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 12.0.
