Zusammenfassung

There was no published specific quality of life score for home parenteral nutrition. Therefore such a tool was developed by the Scottish Home Parenteral Nutrition Network. The Questionnaire was translated by members of the ESPEN-HAN Working Group to different European languages. Parts of the German version of the questionnaire were compared with the same questions of the EORTC QLQ-C30 questionnaire. 43 patients on long term parenteral nutrition answered 100 EORTC and HPN-QOL questionnaires each at the same visit in the department of surgery during in 2009.
