Treatment of obesity with very low calorie diets (VLCD) reveals better short- and long-term results than low-calorie diets (LCD) alone. (Anderson 2002) Nevertheless, the long-term results are disappointing. Aim of our study was to examine the outcome of a 12 months interdisciplinary weight-reduction program*.
