Introduction: The Colon Section of Hungarian Society of Gastroenterology decided to create a protocol for colonoscopy. We built up a questionnaire and then evaluated the answers returned by the patients to help establishing this protocol. The aim of the study was to survey the problems and circumstances of colonoscopy of the IBD and IBS patients. Method: We used modular questionnaire completed by patients. HCCA sent out 450 copies and received over 42% (192) completed papers back from the whole country. The answers were evaluated by professionals of our Association.
