Background: Malnutrition prevalence among hemodialysis patients is high and associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Early malnutrition risk screening, assessment and monitoring of nutritional status are recommended. However they are difficult to implement in the absence of practical tools requiring reasonable workloads.
