Background: Excessive obesity (> 40o) in adolescents is increasing all over the world. In cases who do not respond in any regard to multidisciplinary treatment regimes, it seems the only possibility to offer bariatric surgical procedures. Aims of our study were to evaluate the long-term treatment (weight, comorbidities, psychology), to find out that patient who will benefit and to analyse the psychosocial background and psychological factors.
