Brief introductionWe do not like to think of our life as an accumulation of random, unrelated events. Rather, we want our life to be a meaningfully evolving story that we can tell others, as well as ourselves; however, the ability to tell stories about one’s own life and to perceive one’s own life as a coherent story is dramatically decreased in people with dementia, especially in the later stages of the disease.
