Zusammenfassung

Despite recent medical advances, dementia remains underdiagnosed in older adults admitted to general hospitals. High workload of the hospital staff in combination with lack of appropriate screening tools further exacerbate this issue. Computerized cognitive testing (CCT) has been proposed as a solution as it can be administered by nonspecialists such as nurses while featuring automatic scoring and interpretation of results.
