IntroductionWorking life participation in the older population is high in Sweden compared to other EU countries; according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) statistics in 2017 for 55–64-year-old women it reached 74.5% and for men 77.7% [1]. Nevertheless, there is political agreement that Swedes need to work more years in order to help sustain the old age pension system.
