IntroductionNoncommunicable diseases (NCDs), also known as chronic diseases, are responsible for 41 million deaths globally each year. Cardiovascular diseases, cancers, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes are the leading causes of these deaths [1]. The main modifiable risk factors contributing to NCDs include tobacco use, physical inactivity, unhealthy diets, and the harmful use of alcohol.
