Due to aging populations and increasing numbers of people living with dementia, identifying treatments and strategies to prevent or delay the onset of dementia is a global priority. One report concluded that delaying the onset of dementia by only 2 years would reduce the prevalence of dementia by 20% [1]. Healthy lifestyle interventions offer an opportunity to prevent or delay dementia [2].
