Abstract: Introduction: Successful home care for people living with dementia (PLwD) allows them to live in their own home environment for as long as possible. Current findings indicate a need for further development of medical and nursing knowledge and skills in evidence-based collaborative care for these patients. Aim: To identify specifics of inter-professional care for PLwD and training needs of home care nurses and general practitioners involved in care.
