This new section serves to address fundamental and enduring questions related to the understanding of ageing and its possible and/or desired plasticity. We are looking for articles from biological to the social and behavioral sciences and from geriatric medicine to the humanities. Typically, articles in this entry are nominated by the journal’s advisory board. Final invitations and paper processing are handled by a subgroup from the advisory board.
