Zusammenfassung

Shoulder disorders such as rotator cuff tendinopathy, subacromial pain syndrome, frozen shoulder or non-dislocated proximal humerus fractures cause pain, movement restrictions and loss of function, which significantly impair activities of daily living, work and the quality of life. Since many of these disorders are treated conservatively, physiotherapeutic interventions are a key element of therapy. However, access to in-person therapy in rehabilitation facilities is often limited due to lack of time, costs or great distances. Article published online: 27 February 2026 © 2026. Thieme.
