Zusammenfassung

Background The effectiveness of physiotherapy to reduce low back pain depends on patients’ adherence to physiotherapy. Facilitators and barriers to patient adherence are multifactorial and include personal factors such as previous experiences, and therapist-related factors. No recommendations are currently available to guide physiotherapists how to best facilitate adherence in patients attending physiotherapy for low back pain.
