Discussing climate-social policies in Austria: Tentative application of a new framework to the field of public health

Background The literature on sustainable welfare has expanded in the last decade contributing to knowledge at the intersection of social and environmental policy. So far, the focus lies on welfare state regimes and the compensation of negative social outcomes of climate policy. Congruently, some scholars argue that climate policy can contribute to social outcome, and moreover, a social just and inclusive society.
