Introduction: Studies exploring the influence of the socioeconomic status (SES) on the expression of disease-related genetic variants are sparse. The aim of this study was to investigate whether a sum score of genetic risk alleles related to Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2D) interacts with indicators of SES in a population-based cohort.
