Introduction: Dietary patterns have been associated with lower risk of several chronic diseases, but little is known about potential physiological mechanisms of this relation. We examined the association of a prioridefined diet quality indices and lipid-soluble micronutrients in serum collected from members of the Multiethnic Cohort (MEC) to elucidate potential physiological mechanisms.
