Einleitung Informal caregivers constitute a supporting pillar for many healthcare systems across the globe. A systematic overview of mental and physical disorders of informal caregivers based on population-based studies with good methodological quality is lacking. The aim of our systematic review is to summarize systematically mortality as well as incidence and prevalence of chronic diseases and further health-related outcomes in informal caregivers compared to non-caregivers worldwide.
