Einleitung Neuropsychiatric symptoms (NPS) are common in the prodromal stage of dementia and are associated with an increased risk of dementia. The concept of Mild Behavioral Impairment (MBI) takes this point into account. So far, however, there are few instruments that assess MBI in a standardized method. For this reason, the Mild Behavioral Impairment Checklist (MBI-C) was developed on the basis of the MBI diagnostic criteria and already translated into several languages.
