IntroductionRecent research identified 14 risk factors for dementia that apply to different phases of life [1] and to different world regions [2]. A reduction of these risk factors could prevent 45% of dementia cases [1]. These recent scientific developments need to be translated into interventions that reach as many population segments as possible.
