Zusammenfassung

Purpose: Antegrade and retrograde US pyelography with color Doppler and contrast agent is a new US method to study the urinary tract. It has the advantage of not using ionizing radiations. The US contrast agent provides a chromatic enhancement that allows a better visualization of the urinary tract with color Doppler. This method could be used in selected cases. Methods and Materials: 10 patients with urinary tract obstruction and urether-pyelocaliceal dilatation underwent antegrade and retrograde US pyelography after introduction of US contrast agent in the bladder; subsequently we performed US scans on kidneys…
