Advanced ultrasound-documentation: Real-time-photo instead of pictogram

Purpose: In ultrasound-examinations the array-position (pictogram) is included as a post-process into the documentation. Our aim was to show whether this can be done immediately online, integrated into the examination. Material and methods: We fixed a mini-camera (Carl Zeiss Tessar 2.0/3.7, 2MP autofocus) on the array (GE Logic 9, Curved-Array 3.5 MHz) and so got online-documentation of the array-position, shown on a split-screen-position.
