Abstract The importance of surgical treatment of clavicula fracture has increased significantly in recent years. Minimally invasive procedures, such as osteosynthesis using TEN and new anglestable plates with especially formed shapes, ensure safe stabilization with the advantage of early mobilization. Nevertheless, conservative therapy has its place in elderly and multimorbid patients. The patient must therefore be individually involved in the decision.
