Zusammenfassung

Diffusion tensor MRI (DTI) and fiber tractography (FT) are novel methods that can describe white matter microanatomy in vivo and their clinical application is increasing. More rapid data acquisition, parallel imaging techniques and motion correction maneuvers made it possible to perform DTI on a clinical platform MR scanner. High quality DTI can be obtained within a few minutes and easily added to routine scan protocol. Easy and instant post-processing tools are developed and everyone can do by his or her own PC.
