PRK and Mitomycin-C

Mitomycin-C is a potent agent that prevents corneal haze. It has been used for the treatment of existing corneal haze and the prophylaxis of haze development and the management of severe LASIK complications. In this presentation, the background of Mitomycin-C therapy in refractive surgery and clinical applications and recent research works will be presented.
