Zusammenfassung

AbstractIn addition to acute symptom reduction, psychotherapy in the treatment of depression should also reduce the probability of a recurrence of the disorder or a relapse. The patient should learn to take responsibility for preventing and coping with renewed deterioration. In this article, proven and newer approaches to psychotherapeutic relapse prevention are presented and discussed in a practical way.
