Transcutaneous ultrasound in following up of the presternal esophagus after esophagoplasty

The Aim of this study is to asses the possibilities of transcutaneous ultrasound in following up of the patients with presternal montage after esophagoplasty. Materials and methods: In a four patients group with presternal neoesophagus we performed ultrasound in the following after surgery, using linear proves of 6MHz –10MHz. Results: The patients with presternal neoesophagus are very rare. The superficial disposing of the neoesophagus, conduct to high quality of ultrasound imaging.
