Prediction of premature birth using texture analysis of the cervix

Aim: How does the texture of the cervix change between nonpregnant, early and late pregnancy and can we detect differences between the cervices of pregnancies complicated by premature delivery and those with uncomplicated course of pregnancy and delivery?
