Expression of Cytokine-related genes and Oxido-reduction related genes using DNA microarray in Severe Preeclamptic Placenta. – microarray analysis of severe preeclamptic placenta

Objective: To investigate patterns of Cytokine-related genes and Oxido-reduction related gene expression in placental samples from patients with preeclampsia. Methods; Placenta from 13 normal pregnancies and 13 patients with preeclampsia were collected. Cytokine-related genes and oxido-reduction related genes were found using genome-wide expression profiling by DNA microarrays, followed by validation them using real-time PCR.
