980-nm laserlipolysis and skin tightening of a difficult to treat area: the under lid

Background and Objectives: Laserlipolysis is often used as a procedure to improve fat reduction as well as skin tightening in different body areas. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the feasibility of treatment of the face. Material and Methods: 2 patients with bags under the eyes were treated with a 980-nm diode laser (Asclepion Laser Technologies, Jena, Germany) using a 300µm optic fiber through a 0,5mm stitch incision.
