Purpose: Compression ultrasonography (CUS) has has been recognizedas the diagnostic procedure of choice for the investigation of patients with suspected deep venous thrombosis (DVT); the aim of this study was to determine the accuracy of nurse-performed CUS for acute symptomatic proximal DVT of the lower limb.
