Ultrasound examination in the prenatal and neonatal diagnosis of neuroblastoma

Purpose: To learn the frequency and sonographic characteristics of abdominal neuroblastoma that manifest themselves in perinatal and neonatal periods. Material and methods: A retrospective analysis data of sonographic from 15 children of first month of life with clinical diagnosis (6) and confirmed diagnosis (9) of neuroblastoma was performed. Results: In 6 cases tumors were found in fetus in II-III trimesters of gestation. All localization were in adrenal and clinically these tumors considered as neuroblastoma.
