Our experience with 100 implantations of the RESTORE® lens

Purpose: To evaluate the possibility of accommodation after implantation a new pseadoaccommodative IOL AcrySof-RESTORE®. Setting: Eye Microsurgery Complex named after Svjatoslav Fyodorov, St. Petersburg Branch. St. Petersburg, Russia. Methods: There were two groups of patients. One group (n=100) received implantation of ordinary AcrySof IOL, another (n=100) – AcrySof RESTORE®-lens (Alcon Co). Patients underwent visual acuity testing for near and far vision.
