COMPARISON OF CONTRAST ENHANCEMENT ANALYSED WITH OFF-LINE SOFTWARE AND SOFTWARE BUILT INTO THE ULTRASOUND MACHINE

Purpose: There are many potential applications for the quantification of the enhancement in contrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS). Off-line analysis of the CEUS image is easily achieved using commersially available software but is limited by the dynamics of the ultrasound image. The purpose of this study was to compare such off-line analysis with an analysis system built into an ultrasound machine and usig raw data rather than the actual image for the analysis.
