Immunological and redox effects of diets enriched in glutamine and antioxidants, a green tea extract diet and a combination of these diets on several organs during endotoxemia

Introduction: There are hypothesis that the administration of antioxidants and/or immunmodulatory substances improve immunological functions during inflammatory processes. Therefore we investigate the effects of a diet rich in glutamine and antioxidants (diet I), a green tea extract diet (GTE) as well as a combination of these diets on immunological as well as on redox parameters in several organs during endotoxemia.
