Purpose: Although high field MRI at 3 Tesla (3T) is available since more than 5 years only very few publications are found in the literature on pediatric imaging at 3 T. This is why we reviewed and analysed all pediatric examinations we performed at 3T in our institution from 2002 to 2006 to assess practicability and value of highfield MRI in pediatric patients.
