Zusammenfassung
Non-insulinoma pancreatogenic hypoglycemia syndrome (NIPHS) has become an important differential diagnosis of insulinoma in recent years. Diagnosis is based upon postprandial neuroglycopenia, a negative fasting test, negative conventional imaging, and a positive gradient for calcium-mediated insulin release. Methods: Since 2001 NIPHS was diagnosed in 12 patients (11 females, 1 male) during a combined 75g OGTT-fasting test for up to 72h duration. Blood glucose (BG) was measured by means of a validated glucose analyzer (HemoCue®) with short intervals at BG
