Ultrasound evaluation of hepatic steatosis versus histological examination in patients with chronic hepatitis C

Aim: To compare ultrasound evaluation of hepatic steatosis with histological examination of liver biopsy fragment in patients with chronic hepatitis C Methods: We studied retrospectively a group of 46 patients with chronic hepatitis C admitted in Department of Infectious Diseases, Timişoara between 01.2000–01.2008.
