A potential of the high-frequency ultrasonic investigation in the differential diagnostics of scars

Purpose: To estimate a potential of the high-frequency ultrasound in determination of the scar type and a depth of the scar lesion. Material and methods: 49 patients aged from 17 to 68 years with scar lesions in different parts of body were investigated. Dermcup (France) apparatus with a 20 – 40 MHz transducer was used.
