Experiences of phakic anterior chamber lenses and surgical strategies

With an optical coherence tomography prototype scanner, we were able to establish in three cases the possibility of a contact between the refractive phakic IOL/natural crystalline lens in an eye implanted with such an IOL and not necessarily detected in the normal conditions of an anterior segment bio-microscopic examination.
