Purpose: Ultrasound (US) and Computed Tomography (CT) findings in three cases of giant mucocele of the appendix are described Methods and Materials: Three patients were seen owing to an abdominal trauma (1 case) and abdominal discomfort (2 cases). US exam was carried out by a wideband 2–4MHz convex probe in all cases. Color and Power Doppler parameters were adjusted for detection of low-velocity flow.
