Is emergency ultrasound exam a tool for diagnosis the possible unsteady reasons in case of trauma patients?

Aim: To perform a prospective analytic research about the role of ultrasound (US) exam in diagnosis the life threatening lesions in case of trauma patients. Material and methods: The prospective study (December 2006– July 2007) is an analytical clinical research, with transversal approach. The inclusion criterion in the study at emergency department being clinical: thorax/abdominal/extremity trauma mark with pain.
