Usefulness of endoscopic balloon dilatation of papilla of vater for removal of bile duct stones in our practice

Background: The endoscopic dilatation of papilla of Vater with radial expansion balloon performed after limited endoscopic sphicteromy is an alternative method to extraction stones from the common bile duct (CBD). We introduced this procedure in some special cases in our endoscopic department in the second half of 2013.
