Zusammenfassung

Introduction: Sensitive and specific bridging type ELISAs for the separate measurement of autoantibodies to GAD65, IA-2 and ZnT8 are currently available. We have now developed and evaluated a new 3Screen ELISA for the combined measurement of autoantibodies to GAD65 and/or IA-2 and/or ZnT8. Methods: ELISA plates were coated with a mixture of highly purified recombinant GAD65, IA-2 and ZnT8 (325 W/R dimer molecule). Serum (25 µl) was incubated in the coated wells overnight at 2 – 8 °C followed by washing and incubation with biotin-labelled GAD65, IA-2 and ZnT8 mixture at 2 – 8 °C for 1 hour.
