Objectives: The two following cases are presented for illustration of the challenging interpretation of re-staging PET-CT scan after induction chemotherapy with cisplatin and pemetrexed for malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) patients. Case: The following two patients were referred to our institution with a diagnosis of MPM. Both patients were in their sixties and had known asbestos exposure in their work life and clinical staging was assessed by PET-CT scan.
